Mantled Howler Monkey -5 limbs are better than four

Arenal, Costa Rica

Using their prehensile tails these monkeys can reach the new fresh growth of leaves on the smaller branches. These new growth leaves have not yet had a chance to produce a full compliment of toxins & so are less poisonous.
