They look too polished for Afghan. BusinessInsider claims photo is from 1920, however Afghan was in war theatre between British and Russ.Fed during that time. What are two guys sitting on the floor hidden behind Sergeant doing, polishing their shoes? Etherway, it is definitely a donation-based army.
