I love this shot and I can almost tell you the exact exposure used here but then again, that would depend on the camera used. Your mum and aunty ehh.. well before they knew how much their lives would change within a few decades. This is really a terrific shot, almost in teh way of saying.... photography is not the same anymore. This was true art; a separate light meter, a tripod to cope with the longer exposure and a pin sharp image. This... and the fact that the photographer had to photograph children (not the most stationary at their best). A superb photograph that has withstood the decades well.
