Powershot Pro 1, first impression pictures [16-March-2004]

I've got it on Monday, March 15, 2004.
Beatifull small piece, my first emotion. After that, I checked how it will work and soon I made the first pictures. I was very interested how they would look in comparison to my EOS 10D.
So I shoot a few pictures outside in the garden with RAW-quality.

Oops. The software from canon (zoombrowser ex) doesn't allow me to convert them. What is going wrong? I don't know. As far as I can see, it isn't possible to open any picture by zoombrowser. That means, I can not compare any RAW-picture data.....arrgh.
Why doesn't canon just deliver a simple plain raw plugin for Adobe Photoshop? Or an upgrade of their Fileviewer software which is part of the EOS 10D package?

Anyway. All of the pictures here were shoot with Large mode and quality set to Super.

Feb-2005: in the meantime I found other tools to open the raw's from the pro1....:)

Nice impressions there , how do you like the PRO 1? I intedn to buy one myself, but I need some advice from those who have them. Please let me know if it is worth buying it ? BTW, have fun taking those pic! Regards.
