It was super great to see an old time friend this past weekend ~ Denise & I have
been buds for over 15 years & it was wonderful news that she was coming to visit;
Only, she is visiting to have surgery & so it's a mixed blessing.

We spent Sunday at the beaches near Ventura Pier & had a wonderful time catching
up, capturing pics and enjoying the antics of the kids. Unfortunately, the fires
burning here is So. Cal. slowly turned the sky brown, eventually covering the sun
completely... made for a strange looking red sun & cool orange reflection shots!

She will have one of two procedures done tomorrow (Tues) and so any one wanting to
toss an extra prayer her way, by all means, go for it & Thanx a bunch. We Love ya, Denise!
