Many a Miner came away disappointed & no richer than when
they crossed the thick forest lands. Unfortunately, we can
add Jon to that list. He was so looking forward to panning
for gold, & altho it was advertised all over the place, the
Coarse Gold Panning was sold & an Art Gallery was
now occupying the building. Dag Nammit!

We did go ecplore the old eqipment that has been left to ruin.
It was one of only a few disappointments in the trip, but one
that poor young "Miner Jon" took hard. Don't fret, My Boy ~
There's more gold in them thar hills, I promise!
