After we got down from Cube Point on Saturday, we headed straight for the ranger station to secure a two night backcountry permit to climb the grandest of all the Tetons. It was nice to finally crash after being awake for so long. We drove to national forest land for free camping to avoid the overpriced national park campgrounds.
The next morning we packed our bags, and headed from the Lupine Meadows trailhead to go to the Lower Saddle, the base camp for Grand Teton ascents. On the hike through Garnet Canyon we were met with this view at a campsite called "The Meadows". The mountain in view here is the Middle Teton.
