Although the skies were thwarting our backpack plans, they did provide for some dramatic lighting and one of our favorite pictures from the trip.

As we drove back down it started to rain. When we reached Silver Gate the Log Cabin was open so we stopped in for breakfast (tasty). We thought we might just kick around Yellowstone for the day, but when we were finished it had cleared up so we decided to give Aero Lakes a go.
