Wednesday morning Steve and Dad hiked the 1.5 miles to Lady of the Lake for some early morning fishing. Unlike their fishing excursion last year where they were out fished by the otters, they were very successful and brought home eighteen trout that we would grill for dinner. Yum!
We had lunch at the house then took a drive into Yellowstone National Park. Despite being only five miles from the northeast entrance of Yellowstone, we spent little time there. It's a beautiful park with abundant wildlife and interesting features, but also crazy crowded.
We visited the Mammoth Springs area. Here we've corralled Norah for a picture in front of the post office.
