Daisy splash.

This is my first at least partial success in the direction I am going with drop collisions: capturing images in the background inside the drops that result from the surface tension and splashes. I am going to show my geekiness (again!), but the physics of water is just amazing.

And I should have put this addition at the beginning: I wholeheartedly agree with the comments about the depth of field and the flower competing too much. I have been working on shots from other sessions that are better in this respect, but this shot still has something I haven't captured in the "better" ones (I'm currently not as happy with the structure of my rebound columns), so I posted it anyways. Which is not to say that I don't really wish I had noticed the DOF while shooting in the first place instead of when I was processing the images.... Too focused on the drops part and not enough on the rest of the image.

I like this but would like the background flower to be less visible. I think it competes too much with the drop.
