Melting snow banks.

I am fascinated by water (as some may already have noticed). As the snow melts, the edges of snow banks are filled with small drips and icicles, each with its own shape and textures. Hard to resist....

I also have a close-up of the one on the left here -- it is about half the size of your little finger's nail, and the extreme close-up shows the scaly texture and bubbles that are trapped inside.
