Open door.

They do have their own cat door, but the real door always seems to be better for checking out the universe. And yes, this is a night photo: available light only, no flash. The D700 is truly amazing.

Our cats have never seen snow, Peter or been in daytime temperatures below 15 degrees C. As it's getting chilly in Sydney, Oz (temps around 18 C during the day and plummets to 12 C at night), they have taken up residence on our bed.

I really like this shot. Once I got done with the usual reaction and found myself still enjoying it, I got a flashback of merkats.. this one reminds me of the sentry on watch point while the others stay safely closer to the entries lol
