In the fall of 2003 and 2004, I volunteered for the Idaho Bird Observatory to conduct raptor migration counts. On the top of Lucky Peak overlooking Boise, the IBO has a variety of bird projects every fall including songbird banding, owl banding, and raptor counting and banding. All these photos were taken in 2004 and I hope show a good variety of the birds from the various projects.
