This is the last butterfly that will be used in the project with the Detroit Zoo. Since the last two butterflies are common in shipments of
chrysalises from Costa Rica, Ms. Palombi decided to include them in the project. Any future butterflies that appear in this gallery
will be those that I find on my own at the Butterfly Garden. However, 48 of the approximately 75 species that emerge
during the year have now been photographed, and I suspect that it will be difficult to discover any of the others.
Again, this butterfly should not be confused with the Pink-spotted Cattleheart previously photographed. See below:
