The E.A.A. AirVenture Museum (Experimental Aircraft Association) in Oshkosh, Wisconsin is a place we've been talking about visiting/photographing for ages, and today we finally got there. Photographically speaking, its a bit of a challenge, as I identified at least 3 different kinds of lights, sometimes mixed together...forget about getting the white balance right. I ended up shooting both with and without flash, hoping at least some of them would be acceptable...and thank goodness for the E-620's image stabilization!! While I'm not proud of the job I did here with the camera, it still should make for an interesting album. One thing that disappointed me greatly was the lack of anything Japanese WWII, and only one German WWII fighter, the Bf-109 and it was disassembled. I didn't see so much as a photograph of any WWII Italian fighters, and while they were reportedly underpowered they were the most beautiful aircraft ever created. We spent 5 hours and took 251 photographs.
