This road gets ugly when it rains and they close it off...you will be there a few days if rains. The road is about 1km long to the bottom, elevation is about 600ft difference. It is a easy walk down and work going back up.. The walk down is really worth it, have someone drop you off at the top and walk down. This is a day use only 7am-10pm. There is a private campground just north of the park gate. They even have trail rides in the area.
