It's been quiet at home, friends, for a few days. Dad has been away attending a family gathering for a cousin's funeral. Mum was going to go too but had to change her plans at the last minute and stayed at home with me instead. It's been peaceful with just two of us, but I kept forgetting that Dad was away and every evening I have been sitting by the window waiting for Dad to come home from work! I gave Dad a HUGE welcome when he walked through the door this evening, you may be sure of that! He seemed very pleased to see me too - I think he missed me (and Mum!).

Here's a shot from a trip to Haworth a few days ago. We stopped outside this antique shop because I was fascinated by this mirror - look, there's another pooch in there! How cool is that!
