I've been happy all day today. It's been warm enough for the back door to be left open and I have been trotting in and out of my garden to check for cats and sun myself in the new flowerbed. Dad was back early from work and took me out to the park - a walky I know very well and always enjoy as I know where the most interesting smells are to be found. I was skipping about like a puppy and making all the passers-by smile. An older man passed us with his old, old terrier who also started skipping about when she saw me. The man said how pleased he was to see his old dog full of happiness. They both walked on with smiles on their faces. There must be something "skippy-ish" in the air today!

(dad: going out for dinner this evening but I will TRY to catch up with commenting and messages later! Sorry to have been such a rubbish correspondent recently - I could do with just a couple more hours in each day at the moment! :-) )
