31032006 going out like a lamb

Dad says there's this old saying about how if March "comes in like a lamb" it will "go out
like a lion" and vice versa. In other words if March 1st is nice and sunny then March
31st will be rainy and horrible. Well, this year it's been sunny on both days! What
does that mean then? Perhaps this year March is coming in and going out like a westie! :-)

Good grief, I can't even remember what March 1st was like, but I know it is raining here today....I love this shot - the colors so bright and the angle rocks. Nice shot.

It went out pouring with rain, thunder & lightning here, while in West Aus, a cyclone catagory 4, with 260kph wind touched down...the lion has roared on both sides of the country in a week...that could be our sunshine you have there Pooch !

If March comes in like a lion it goes out like a lamb and if March comes in like a lamb, it goes out like a lion. It must be 40 years since I heard that proverb Pooch. I'm glad it isn't true this year.
