10092005 it's been a bad week

Well, friends, Dad did not think he would have time to post again
before the trip to hospital tomorrow, but there's time for a quick update.
Dad says THANK YOU very much to everyone who has left comments and messages
with good wishes, they're very much appreciated and he will reply as soon as
he can!

I know something's afoot and I don't like upheaval. I've been like Dad's shadow
- when I haven't been at the v*t's that is. Had to go in on Wednesday. It was not
very nice. Mum cried when she and Dad picked me up afterwards.
The v*t gave me thirty-five injections (the first one made me very
sleepy) and shaved all the fur off one of my flanks. You can't see it in this
photo but it looks most undignified. The purpose of it all was to find out what
I'm allergic to... and it wasn't good news. I have eighteen separate allergies,
including a severe allergy to several different types of insect bites. I'm allergic
to dandelions, daisies, several different trees and grasses. Now I'm on special
baths every three days (grrr), anti-histamines in my food and nasty wet ear drops
in my ears (double grrrrr).
The good news is I'm getting there and feel a lot better than I did last week.

Pooch, I've been through the same thing, and I'm a bit bigger than you are. :-) It's not fun. You're such a brave little fella!

Wish you both the best!

I'm glad to hear the vet made you sleepy before all those injections! Fancy
being allergic to all those things that you see and sniff on your walkies :|
That little face tells me you're not happy that something odd is afoot...hugs!

WOW! He is quite the trooper! I am glad they found the source of his problems and I hope he can still go on those beautiful walkies with his Dad!

Pooch is one tough pup. Stuck thirty five times and still standing. He's the man.

Ah Pooch it's looking the same for Frau too...!! She is having problems with insect bites too. I must check in with Dad to see how the medication works...( we have just discussed the state of the cricket & the tennis & Dad's trip off to hospital today )
Thanks Dad for explaining the 800 wide resize & non compression.
Look, I just know your going to have a good time with Mum while Dad is absent so try not to be too sad.

Pooch! Oh dear, poor lad! Take care of yourself and take care of dad! Tell Dad that I will try to work out that pink pom-pom thing in my PAD050909.

I'm so sorry to hear about your many allergies, Pooch. Hopefully all the baths and
medicines will help for your future health.

I am so sorry to hear that Pooch isn't feeling well. I know how frantic we were when we couldn't figure out what caused the seizure Go Home had.

I will be thinking about you this week and saying a few prayers that the operation goes well, you heal quickly, and everything for all of you is back to normal.

Sorry to hear that all too! Poor Pooch and poor Mum and Dad too.
One of my cats has allergies too, but it's not so severe (so we didn't make tests).

Great picture once again, Pooch really looks like the one who said what's in the caption ;-)
Best wishes.
