30th April 2018

The apple tree in our garden has at last decided to think about blossom - three weeks later
than last Spring! To us, it isn't "really Spring" until our apple tree is in flower.
We're looking forward to those buds opening any day now. :-)

I've been enjoying using the Canon again so much in recent days that I am now wondering
whether to sell my Nikon D700 & lenses for someone else to enjoy. Hmm... decisions, decisions...

I love my Canons...what can I say :)

Love the look of your beautiful bud...if you don't get a wriggle on we'll both be in winter at the same time.

Ah, spring apple blossoms, what's better than that! Beautiful colors. I do like the Canon color signature . V

Good to see it trying. I saw two Swallows this afternoon, so it must be summer! They are at least a week late.

We've had the same kind of Spring on this side of the Atlantic, too. I don't feel that our Spring is here to stay until our ornamental Crab Apple trees in the back yard start to bloom. They finally started late last week.

However, our fruiting crab apple tree is still just setting buds. , Historically, our crab apple trees are in full flower between March 11 and April 11: depending on the year. I'm looking forward to seeing your apple tree blooms fully open. I enjoyed seeing your photo.
