Dad: now here's a thing. Pooch is at the vet hospital today for his weekly anti-dermodex bath,
and the vet has just called to tell us he's found a swollen lymph node.
I'm not too sure what a swollen lymph node is, let alone what its significance is, but the vet
seems to think it definitely means serious illness of some kind, possibly cancer.
I've given permission for a needle biopsy (ouch, poor Pooch) so we may learn more from that in a few days.
Such strange news when Pooch is seemingly more bright and happy than we've seen him for a while.

Here's a photo of him on holiday with us on the Holy Island of Lindisfarne a couple of weeks ago.
He walked an amazing 4 miles and would even have walked further, barked at a couple of cats and gobbled down his food with great enthusiasm!
Can he really be poorly? So strange...
