It's all a bit much, friends.
My house has been invaded today by noisy visitors.
I had to have a wash-and-brush-up to look smart.
I couldn't get near my sofa until this evening for a nice sleep, because the visitors sat on it.
I had scrunched-up wrapping paper thrown at me by a six-year-old human.
The six-year-old also made me wear a Santa hat.
My new toys have been played with by humans.
I was told off for attempting to rip open a 'chocolatey-smelling' parcel under the Christmas tree.
My kitchen smelled of wonderful cooking aromas for most of the morning, but I was banned from investigating the smells.
But things have improved this evening... I have my sofa back, and my belly is full of scrumptious Christmas dinner.
Perhaps Christmas Day hasn't been too bad after all.

Dad: For an elderly dog unused to young children, Pooch was amazingly gentle and tolerant today.
