Dad says that today is known as 'the glorious twelfth', friends! Whoever decided to call it that obviously wasn't thinking of the weather.
We both got very wet in the showers today! Not 'glorious' at all if you ask me.
Dad did mention that the name refers to the fact that today lots of humans can go onto the moors and look for a type of bird called a grouse.
I think that sounds very interesting... I wonder if they need any help looking for the grouse? I think I'd be very good at finding grouse, don't you?
