28th July 2011

Dad: well, this is an irony after yesterday's happy photo. We had to rush Pooch to the v*t last night because he was taken suddenly
ill with a very bloated tummy and pain. One scan and two blood tests later and it seems Pooch has a foreign body in his digestive
tract. Exactly when or how it happened is mystifying. We hope it's not related to our car accident last weekend - Pooch was in his
travelling crate in the boot (trunk) of the car and when he was checked by the v*t the following day he seemed to be OK. But either
he was hurt after all, or else he's swallowed something.

Tomorrow he'll have an endoscopy under general anaesthetic and if that doesn't enable the v*t to get rid of the blockage then he'll have to have surgery.

Camera phone pic of us during visiting hours at the v*t hospital this evening. It was back onto the IV for Pooch after this photo was taken.

Sorry about the bad news, poochfriends... will keep you posted.
