Friends, here you see me in a pensive mood. I know something's not quite right in poochworld - both Dad and Mum are very gloomy.
I have been doing my best to help, by checking that they both smell all right and giving them lots of licks.
Apparently it's something to do with a job. But I don't really understand about jobs or getting paid.
You see, my thinking is - if you need a b*scuit or two, why not just go and find some?
Why bother with money? It doesn't smell the least bit edible and it's not much good for playing with, either.
Why is it so important to humans to have money in exchange for b*scuits?
I should think a slobbery lick would do just as well, wouldn't you?
Dad: thanks for the sympathetic comments yesterday, hopefully you are right and it's a new beginning - not easy to see it in that way just yet!
