2nd July 2010

Friends, it's six o'clock! And you know what that means... SUPPER TIME!

Dad: for those who are wondering - yes, for years we did feed Pooch on a RAW diet, but since he developed his severe skin
allergy problems we have stuck to what the v*t recommends. It may not look appetising, but believe me Pooch gobbles it up!
I think the record from placing the food bowl on the floor to having a pristine empty licked bowl is about 21 seconds. :-)

IS Pooch the fastest supper-gobbler? Would any other contenders care to comment? ;-))

Can't beat that, yesterday's half eaten meal is still there!! Trouble is we are experiencing storms and Max stops eating...Go get it Pooch!

A great shot of the Pooch reaching for his meal.
Buffy is a sniffer and a more deliberate eater.

Java can do it in 6 seconds!!

It always amazes me how fast the bowl of food can disappear, especially when there's
more than one dog around; but I would have thought Pooch's 21 seconds would be hard to
beat until I read the previous comments!

its a very satisfying feeling to see 'em finish their dinner so fast!
kimba could finish a bowl of chicken necks in about 21 seconds too.

Our dog only has preservative free dry food too...not a skin problem to be seen!!

21 seconds? That´s SLOW!! My lab emptied her bowl in 5 seconds. So I had to spread the kibbles out on a tray so she couldn´t gobble it up that fast, ´cause it came back up as quickly. And she ate it AGAIN. Gross!
Bonnie on the other hand? Well, I fill her bowl and usually it´s empty in a couple of days! Retrievers and poodles are so different.

He's a greedy begger.

I feed Simon a Prescription Diet for cats with severe allergies. He loves it! But he could not compete with Pooch for "speed eating". Really love how you caught his excitement in this photo!
