Friends, you know from past experience that I am not averse to embarrassing Dad in order to have some fun.
Well, today there were some interesting goings-on next door. Lots of bangings and people shouting.
Whatever could be going on? I could not contain my curiosity!
For a while I sat in my garden and tried to see what was happening. But I wanted to get closer to the action.
Luckily Dad had been mowing the lawn and left the garden gate open. The perfect opportunity for me to nip next door and check out all the bustle!
I met some very nice painters and decorators and almost helped myself to a cup of tea someone had left on the floor.
Then Dad came round and fetched me. Wasn't that a great adventure, friends!
