The 30th Annual Star Party the Saguaro Astronomy Club has hosted for Glendale Parks and Recreation. Jack Jones, Public Events Coordinator for SAC, made this one the most thoughtfully organized with shuttle buses and nearby facilities. The weather and sky cooperated as well, making this an enjoyable evening to share a passion for astronomy with the rest of the world in some small way. There was a good turnout of folks to look through at least 15 scopes with many of the vistors being astronomy students at Glendale Community College where SAC's very own David Frederickson teaches our favorite subject.
