The upperside (recto) of Howdenypa (= Argyripa) gloriosa. Endemic to Colombia, this exceptionally rare cetonid beetle is absent from most national entomological collections.... and very few ....such as this specimen .....are owned privately ... (LUCKY ME!!!). Body length=18mm.
