Discovered in Baldwin County, Alabama by plantsman Frank Galloway, this white-flowered
form of the typical red-flowered Hibiscus coccineus has green stems, dissected
marijuana-like foliage, and grows to a height of 8'. Atop the tall glabrous stalks are
the five-petaled, pure white flowers that bloom from mid-summer through fall. Prefers
moist soil, but can tolerate dry spells once established.
