Dreary Blah Feb

I hate it when it's like this out! Give me snow or give me Spring but days of this dreary, drab, gray, overcast weather stink! This is the view from the Braddock Bay Hawk Watch overlooking Braddock Bay. In about a month we "should" be having great flights of migrating hawks but we'll probably be having severe snowstorms instead because we're having such mild weather now.

Through January 31,2009 we recorded 86 inches of snow but you would not know it by looking at this image. So far this month we recorded only 1 inch of snow. Not your typical western New York winter!

That's a lot of snow. Looks very dreary too. On the bright side this is very good light for macros.

I certainly agree with you..
Our February has been the same and pictures have been few and far between..
I'm reaching into my old images for my PAD Gallery...

You are waiting for spring while we wait for autumn to release us from oppressive summer heat. You have continual overcast while today we are welcoming arrival of the first clouds seen here for months!

Dreary and Drab.....at least your camera captures it like it really is!~

That is rough...pretty today and then yucky tomorrow here! I'm glad we didn't get 80+ inches of snow!

She said "snow"! On the upside - you don't have to shovel this.

A dreary scene indeed. But take heart, spring is coming.

WOW! I'd say you've had over twice what we had. Thank you Lord!

I think I saw this field today also, just farther West, way farther! :-)
