I wanted to do something other than 4 leaf clovers and rabbit's feet so I did a little research on the Internet and found that acorns are a good luck charm. As luck would have it (pun intended) our local Oak trees are dropping their acorns now so this morning on my walk I picked up a few.

The acorn is supposed to bring good fortune, ward off lightening or give the gift of youth. Your choice.
