The Old Swing Bridge Is Coming Down

This swing bridge was built back in 1905. It has been out of service since 1995. The U.S. Coast Guard considers the bridge a navigation hazard on the river and ordered CSX to take down the defunct railroad span. People tried to "save it" but cost and logistics just don't make it possible.
So they started to demolish it in Oct 2012.
