Our walks in the desert were very slow. Aleta & I stopped to examine each thing of interest
and to allow time for Aleta to speak "notes" into her Dell Axim, but at least it was faster
than if she were to write them directly into her journal as she has usually done. It required
discipline to keep up with the transcribing each day. Between the nature notes and
the painting, Aleta was busy every hour of the day. Her "vacations" are never truly leisure time.
