Dubai Shopping Festival and Eid

This is an event on a grand scale, a month long phenomenon that epitomizes the Arab penchant for bargaining and trading. The photos in this gallery are not ALL about 'DSF,' but rather took place during this time. Point of note here is that the second Eid holiday took place during this time and stretched the my mid-term break holiday to give me a full two weeks off. This is the Eid where Muslims go on their Haj – our landlord is doing his pilgrimage.
