This picture was taken in 1979 from a bicycle trip (Montreal to San Diego)that I made with my friend Yves. The title that I gave more than 20 years ago is still valid. What was inside those barrels ??? I don't know but it seams that you think the same think than me. Oil barrels, barbwire fence, the american flag painted on those barrels and the color of the sky match like a dream. Is this sarcasm ? Why not... Maybe the title is not politicly correct, but when I took the picture it make me stop from bicyling to capture this small parcel of eternity.
