Red-sided Garter Snake

Big change of pace, rather than looking skyward the focus was on the ground. I've never been a big fan of snakes but the Red-sided garter snakes are starting to immerge from their winter dens and fun to watch.
Needless to say I wasn't shooting close up in Macro mode.
