I drove around the neighborhood looking for holiday decorations. We are between
holidays here in the U.S. but some people choose Halloween decorations that can
serve as Thanksgiving Decorations. That way they can leave them up for a month!

Since reading about the subject decades ago I've been fascinated by
Ephemeral Folk Figures. All these straw people will be gone in two weeks.
