Nature: White Rose Bush

October Challenge: Nature

My wife's favorite Rose Bush, though her favorite rose color was yellow.

Similar to Ed's recent photo this was taken at 200mm rather than using a Macro lens.
It is hard to get close to the bush and even harder to get on the sunny side.

You can see the bud at the bottom looks bright red, the flowers age through shades of pink.
Unfortunately just before taking the photo I picked the two completely white blossoms!

Though the Pros mock Super Zooms, I like this Tamron 18-200 mm lens for general work and it is
a necessity at the Dog Park. You can't tell a dog, "Hold that cute pose while I change lenses!"

I think this turned out especially well. There is a lovely, soft, ethereal quality to it. V

The bokeh ads to the romance of this image...

nice shot Leo..my recent flower photo was not shot with a macro..I used the new Tamron 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 SP Di VC USD XLD at 300mm and I was about 8 feet away.
