India is Everything

In late 2005, I spent 16 days in Northern India. I visited New Delhi, Varanasi, Khajuharo, Agra, Jaipur, Jodphur, Pushkar, and Amritsar. I prefer to let the photographs do most of the speaking. I'll just say that for me, India is exhilarating and exhausting. India is chaotic and calm. India is sensory overload. India is complex. India is diverse. India is everything.

Please take some time and view these photographs. If you are so moved, I encourage you to leave comments about the gallery in general, or about particular photographs. And please vote for it if you feel compelled to do so.

Steve- Amazing pictures, I would suggest you should get them printed as a book . The quality and artistic touch is really wonderful and brings out the beauty and charm in every picture

Thank you,, Steve for this wonderful, encyclopedic tour of India. Your images are outstanding. Such a diversity of color. I couldn't help but notice that from gallery 20 on, you shot with an LC1. Those images were, to my eye, noticably sharper, cleaner and more delicate than the previous. Please don't take this as criticism...just my personal observation and feeling! Thanks again for a wonderful tour. Angus
