20120115 - Torn

Between trying to clone out the little trees and being honest.
Honest won - it's easier that way too :o)

There was a bit of an atmosphere in the, err, atmosphere!

It pays to be honest. :) I love it. The haze is beautiful and the lone tree on the hill has been done a lot. The little trees evoke thoughts of family. V

Honesty. It's such a lonely word... ;-)

the little trees add depth and scale, so glad you spared them..love the sense of stillness, and of course the mauve sky...V

Just have Doug take you to the place in the Cotswolds with the lone tree! Then you won't need to worry about cloning any little fellas out. Aw heck, you may not need to worry about much of anything coz they may throw you in jail! ;)
Lovely image Phillip! :)

I like the little trees - it makes the big one look like a guardian. Lovely soft pastel colours.

The composition would have been a lot poorer without the trees. Great. V

Composition works well with the trees ... Great atmosphere!

You must have needed to push yourself through that atmosphere it's so thick. I like the way its torn.

Nice minimalism!

Very mysterious looking light, the little trees fill the other third so it still has good balance
Colin Storey15-Jan-2012 18:41
Lovely image with that slash of light.

Very atmospheric, I'm with you on the honesty, however if you really want to clone them out I've got a chainsaw!
