20090225 - Rain

For: Four Colour February

Bit of a change of style today - and a bit of a subtle green.
Green is used to highlight rain on weather charts, here's Bill doing a spot of colouring-in :)

A very interesting and unusual shot!
Guest 26-Feb-2009 10:17
I hope the rain won't be green either :) Great find, V

The green is very subtle. But it is a great image.
Guest 26-Feb-2009 07:17
Heh, but you have to rely on German pencils :-)
malcolm haslam26-Feb-2009 06:49
I hope Bill doesn't colour in, where I am today!
Guest 26-Feb-2009 05:53

I thought from the thumbnail that you were going for a twofer with the Idle Hands challenge. I see by this that they are not idle ;-)
Nancy Lobaugh25-Feb-2009 23:40
by hand! wow! that's a lost art...
Kevin Chester25-Feb-2009 22:45
But we don't want rain :-(
Kathryn25-Feb-2009 22:42

i was gonna say...are'nt you a bit old for dot to dot's? ;)
Mairéad25-Feb-2009 20:00
Looks hopeful, just small patches of green.
Johnny JAG25-Feb-2009 19:42
Does he have to draw each drop?
Doug Cruden25-Feb-2009 19:36
Ahhh Staedtler pencils!! That takes me back to my childhood.....a blazer top-pocket stuffed full of lovely yellow & black and black & red HBs and 2Bs....
The shallow DoF really isolates Bill's inclement weather over the Firth of Tay....lovely shot Phil, well worth the change in stylee

Is Bill a rainmaker?Does anyone do a raindance for him? Who's the sunmaker? Is he called the Sundance Kid? :)
laine8225-Feb-2009 19:14
Rain huh...does that mean it's Bill's fault ? :>)
Faye White25-Feb-2009 19:14
I've always suspected it was all done by hand...
Ann...25-Feb-2009 19:10
Perhaps I should get a job there - I love colouring in!!!
Laryl25-Feb-2009 19:04
