Taxiing in to park at Davao Airport. This shot was taken from the old Sasa terminal bldg prior to the construction of the
Malayan design terminal & long before the current terminal in Buhangin which is across the runway from here.

In the foreground are some passengers which have just disembarked from a BAC 1-11. They are walking towards the arrival area.

In the background are two Philippine Air Force (PAF) North American T-28 Trojan planes which were also called "tora-tora" by the locals.
I used to see as many as five or six Trojans on the ramp. In all the PAF had twelve.

The old fire station is to the left behind the T-28 Trojans.
