The RC1000L cable was shortened using a 1/8" stereo extension cable (Male and Female connectors).
This allows the cable to be expanded to any length using readily available cords
and reducing the length for more convenient use.

The button side and camera connector side can now be separated allowing the hard to find
connector to be used for home made electronic projects and releases with a readily available
stereo phono connector.
