ROMFlex 0054.jpg

Remove the three screws holding the plastic rear baffle.
Carefully tilt the baffle out of the mount. Note that the Flex circuit is held by a clip notch in the baffle.
The ROM section is held on a flat spot on the baffle with double stick tape.
Likely the tape has deteriorated and the flex circuit is loose inside the lens.
Replace the tape and re affix upon reassembly so the flex circuit will not be pinched by the zoom mechanism.

If the tape is good carefully remove the flex circuit from the rear baffle so the mount can be removed.
