Modification of a Maxxim 3xi for investigation of the serial protocol used in the lens ROM.
An eight conductor ribbon cable was soldered to the lens contact flex connnector.
The on off switch was replaced by soldering shorting pins to the switch contacts.
The ribbon cable was termintated with a sip connector so that it can be used in a standard breadboard.
