Since the Peleng is a preset multi platform lens, there is no ROM or lens contacts,
so the camera does not recognize it as a lens. The camera has the option to disable the shutter if there is no lens attached. This protects the sensor from damage if the shutter is opened without a lens attached. There is an option in the 3rd custom menu (1st item) to disable "shutter lock" I think directions for this are on page 97 in the (English) manual.
