Be very careful handling the flexible circuit board and contacts.
If you are getting no aperture indication on the camera, suspect broken or poor contacts.
The factory joint is between the thin copper and pads on the board.
They can appear to be ok, but may actually be separated.
Check continuity between the contacts and connections on the ROM.
This one has been repaired by resoldering the back of the circuit.
