The Standard IR cut filter in the 7Hi normally prevents use for infrared except for very long exposures.
The filter was removed and replaced with a filter that cuts out visible light and passes IR Above 760nm.

Rear LCD assembly was removed temporarily to gain access to the CCD board and perform
Focus adjustments. Rear casting and its flex connector was replaced temporarily to allow
camera to be turned on for experimentation. Several types of filters are being evaluated including a coated clear filter, two types of IR filters and a red 25.
